The Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Monitoring & Prevention Assessment of Uganda is Now Available

The final report on the B.A.T. assessment of Uganda has been uploaded to the overview of assessments. This report provides a detailed account of the results from the B.A.T. assessment conducted in Uganda, with active participation from the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development (MOFPED) and the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).

The assessment identified potential measures to address BEPS-related challenges, which have been proposed and discussed with Ugandan tax authorities. Highlighting the practical value of the B.A.T., some of these recommendations have already been adopted by the tax authorities. Additionally, priority areas for capacity development have been identified and discussed with development partners.
